Every year Nick Feltron puts out a report on something he's investigated and learned over the past year. The Annual Reports are the result of an intricate collection of data about various social phenomena that Feltron quantifies and presents graphically. The charts, graphs, diagrams, and models that he invents are as complex and inwardly precise as the information they record. The sharp tedium of the data is reflected in the pointedness of the aesthetic and crispness of the typeface.

But there is also something energetic about Feltron's reports. What nonsensical but methodical vigour must have been required of him to collect the information and record it. His data displays itself across the page with a similar energy. Energetic but contained. Crazy but precise.
